Injuries were final straw for Antrim

Jody Gormley is nothing if not honest. Antrim's personable young manager, who has never shirked a challenge during a lively tenure in the Tyrone side, currently finds himself facing up to even more demanding tests in his current role.
Yet Gormley's candour and integrity are proving bulwarks as he strives to bring a ration of pride back to the county.
While Antrim's failure to secure promotion to Division Three has been a topic of debate lately, Gormley yesterday gave an insight as to just why his side failed at the final hurdle.
"To tell you the truth, we had a few players who turned out against Waterford carrying knocks.
"We thought they might be able to get us across the line but this did not prove the case. In hindsight I might have done differently but what's done, is done", admitted Gormley.
For Sunday's Ulster Championship opener against Cavan he will not be taking the slightest chance with anyone's fitness level.
"I cannot change the results of those games against Tipperary and Waterford. I'm totally focused on trying to plot the downfall of Cavan," said Gormley.
