Ryanair has announced a deal that will allow passengers to make and receive calls on mobile phones during their flight.
The airline says the deal with Onair will allow mobiles and hand-held devices like Blackberries to be used on 20 of its aircraft.
Passengers will be charged a roaming fee of up to €3 per minute for making and receiving calls, 50 cents for text messages and around €2 for emailing.
The service will initially be only available to O2 and Vodafone customers.
