Wednesday, 27 January 2010
The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter will sing two songs - including new single Love's On Its Way - at the event, designed for young people to discuss world issues.
"I am honoured to be included in this event and everything it stands for - I believe that hope is an essential part of humanity, something that can lead people on though the darkest times, and One Young World is an illustration of hope for the future," she said.
"Where many people are cynical and refuse to believe in hope, I think it is the greatest gift we can have," Corinne added.
Corinne, whose husband died of alcohol and methadone poisoning in 2008, will perform at the opening ceremony of the three-day summit on February 8 at Old Billingsgate, London.
Young people and political leaders such as Kofi Annan, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Bob Geldof are invited to discuss issues facing the next generation, including health, politics, religion and the environment.
