Lady Gaga to pen Bond theme song?

Lady Gaga is rumoured to be in the running to write the next James Bond theme song.
Sam Mendes is directing the currently untitled 23rd Bond movie, starring Daniel Craig as 007, and The Sun claims Gaga is top of studio bosses list to pen and perform the title track.
A source said: "Bond bosses are all huge Gaga fans, her sound and sense of drama make her the top choice - Gaga has the look as well as the voice to tackle a thundering ballad. She's a great songwriter too. This is perfect on every level."
Also reportedly in the running are Amy Winehouse, who was lined up to write the theme for Quantum Of Solace, but after personal troubles got in the way, the gig went to Jack White and Alicia Keys.
Michael Buble is apparently submitting a demo too.
