White Stripes blast 'war' advert

The White Stripes say US Air Force Reserve made unauthorised use of song on advert during Super Bowl
The White Stripes and their label, Third Man Records, said on the band's website that the song was re-recorded and used without permission.
The rock band, originally from Detroit, said they took "strong insult" to the advert and added it implied the White Stripes "encourage recruitment during a war that we do not support".
The Air Force Reserve said in a statement that the music in the advert was original, and it never intended to use any existing music or "to sound like any music by the band White Stripes".
