Woman dies after apparent cattle attack

A woman in her late 60s has died following what's believed to have been a cattle attack in County Westmeath.
She was walking her dog in a field in Ballinahowen, near Athlone when the cattle appear to have stampeded.
The woman was brought to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe where she later died of her injuries.
