INHO: Older people at risk from tight budget

The Irish Nursing Homes Association has appealed to the government not to let older people become the main casualty of a tight budget.
The group is holding its annual conference today and says it fears that already meagre funding for Ireland's elderly population will be reduced even further in the upcoming budget.
It says that current funding is currently as low as 0.6% of GDP, compared with a European average of 1%.
