A 47 year old man and a 17 year old man both suffered minor injuries, including cuts to their hands.
The incident, which involved up to 7 people, happened at Mullaghoran in Cavan just after 11 o'clock this morning.
A Garda investigation is underway but so far no arrests have been made.
