Drugs crackdown in Cavan and Monaghan.
Sunday, 11 May 2008
Cocaine and cannabis have been seized in Cavan and Monaghan.
The seizures were made last night when Gardai searched a number of premises.
Two men and a woman were arrested and were questioned at Garda stations in Castleblayney and Monaghan town.
The three people were then released without charge and a fire is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardai said the searches were carried out as part of a major crackdown on drug trafficking in the region.
