Gardai in Dublin have arrested three men in connection with an attempted robbery at a business premises in Dublin last night.
A group of raiders armed with what appeared to be a handgun entered the DVD rental and electronic store in Fairview while staff were closing up at around 10pm.
The raiders, who were all in their 20s, tied up staff and tried to gain access to a safe.
However, Gardai were alerted and arrested the men on the premises.
No shots were fired and nobody was injured in the incident.
