It's understood the blaze broke out at Father Terry Park in Fethard in the early hours of this morning.
Gardai are investigating the cause of the fire and the scene has been preserved for technical examination.
Meanwhile, emergency services in Dublin have dealt with a fire at a building site in Kilmainham.
The blaze, which Gardai say started accidentally, broke out at 12.45.
A number of units of the Dublin fire brigade attended the scene and brought the blaze under control.
Military Road in Kilmainham was closed for some time but has now re-opened to motorists.
