Three plead not guilty to charges over €100 million Cork cocaine haul

Three English men have pleaded not guilty to charges relating to a massive cocaine seizure off the west Cork coast.
Perrie Wharrie, Martin Wanden and Joseph Daly went on trial at the Circuit Criminal Court in Cork today charged in connection with the discovery of over €100 million worth of the drug.
The bales of cocaine were found floating off Mizen Head last summer after a dinghy had capsized.
The four accused are charged with possessing cocaine for sale or supply at Dunlough Bay, off Mizen Head in west Cork on July 2nd last.
The State will call around 400 witnesses during the trial, which is expected to last a number of weeks.
