Elderly spectator of motorbike rally critical

A 70 year old spectator is being treated for burn injuries following an incident at a road race in north county Dublin yesterday evening.
The man was injured during a crash at the "Skerries 100" motorcycle race.
At around 5 pm yesterday evening 3 motorbikes taking part in the Skerries 100 road race were involved in a collision.
Burning petrol from the bikes engulfed a spectator who was standing near-by.
The 70-year-old man was rushed to hospital where he is in a critical condition.
Two motorcyclists received minor injuries.
The "Skerries 100" is one of Ireland's most famous motorcycle road races, attracting thousands of people each July.
