Monday, 26 May 2008
A new renewable energy firm is to create up to 60 new jobs as part of a €6m investment in the south east.
Waterford-based company Powerplan says it plans to create 15 full-time jobs and 45 contract jobs in the area.
The company has also been commissioned by the National Energy Authority to provide energy to the Dundalk 20/20 project.
The initiative is a pilot project for a national plan to reduce carbon emissions and supply renewable energy to housing developments.
