HSE urges high risk groups to get flu jab
Saturday, 10 January 2009
The Health Service Executive is urging people in high risk groups to get the flu vaccination this winter.
The organisation says levels of the flu have increased significantly this year - they are now at their highest since flu surveillance began eight years ago.
People who do develop flu like symptoms are urged to stay warm, drink plenty of fluids and take pain killers if they do develop the symptoms.
