O'Dea condemns actions of Israel on Gaza
Sunday, 11 January 2009
The Minister for Defence has strongly condemned the actions of the Israeli Government in Gaza.
The death toll in the region has now reached 800 and there is no sign of an end to the violence with both Israel and Hamas ignoring international pleas for a ceasefire.
Willie O' Dea said Israel's military actions are excessive.
Meanwhile, the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate.
Aid agencies say thousands have been left without food and water.
