FG says 'yes' vote would help Irish economy
Friday, May 09, 2008
Fine Gael says a 'yes' vote in the Lisbon Treaty referendum will help to sustain the strength of the Irish economy.
The party has launched a document today outlining what it says are the economic benefits of the treaty.
It claims a 'yes' vote on June 12th would see Ireland opt for solidarity rather than isolation.
It also says Ireland's economic success has been helped enormously by membership of the EU.
