Internet video spoof calls time on Belfast's Albert Clock
Friday, 2 September 2011
Like a scene from a disaster movie, Belfast's own 'leaning tower', the Albert Clock looks seconds away from crashing to the ground.
Never worry, gravity hasn't finally claimed the monument.
It's not aliens attacking either, but a YouTube spoof video. The Albert Clock is a Belfast landmark and is famous for its lean, caused by subsidence.
It was built between 1865 and 1869 in memory of Queen Victoria's late husband.
Because of the well-known defect, the pictures have made anyone who knows the clock tower do a double-take, wondering if it has actually happened.
But never worry, the famous sandstone monument is still there - though we can't guarantee for how long.
