Donington Park given two-week ultimatum
Tuesday, 13 October 2009
Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has given Donington Park a final two-week ultimate to resolve its financial issues or risk losing the British Grand Prix.
Three deadlines for the track's upgrades to get the go-ahead have come and gone in the past few weeks.
The British GP has been held for the past 23 years at Silverstone, which is on standby to host next year's race if Donington fails to make the grade.
