Canty may miss Munster final with shoulder knock
Wednesday, 2 July 2008
Cork full-back Graham Canty could yet miss Sunday's Munster football final against Kerry, despite being named in Con Counihan's starting 15.
The All Star suffered a shoulder injury in a practice match last night and will undergo a late fitness test ahead of the clash with the All-Ireland champions.
Sunday's team shows three changes from that which scraped over Limerick in the semi-final.
Last year's captain, Derek Kavanagh, earns a recall at midfield, with Anthony Lynch and Kieran O'Connor both drafted into the half-back line.
Nicholas Murphy moves from midfield to wing forward, Fintan Goold has been dropped and Paudie Kissane and Noel O'Leary are both injured.
