Dublin to appeal Collie Moran suspension
Wednesday, 2 July 2008
Dublin have confirmed their intention to appeal the four-week ban handed down to Collie Moran following Sunday's Leinster semi-final.
Moran appeared to elbow Westmeath's Dermot Bannon during the Croke Park clash.
He only received a yellow card on the pitch, but following a review of video evidence, was handed a four-week suspension on the grounds that the incident warranted a red card.
