GAA seeking to make Croke Park carbon neutral
Thursday, 7 August 2008
The GAA has announced plans to make Croke Park a completely carbon-neutral stadium by 2009 with the help of hurling and football fans.
The organisation has launched a 'Cul Green' county challenge that will allow supporters to compete against each other for the most carbon-saving pledges per county.
The GAA also says it will be investing in Croke Park in order to reduce its carbon footprint.
