Ogilvy claims victory in Florida

Monday, March 24, 2008

Geoff Ogilvy has kept his cool to claim victory at the WGC CA Championship in Florida.

The remainder of the final round was carried over due to heavy rain at the Florida course yesterday.

Ogilvy completed his back nine today without dropping a shot to finish with a 71 and top the leaderboard on -17.

The Aussie finished two clear of the trio of Retief Goosen, Jim Furyk and Vijay Singh.

World number one Tiger Woods finished two shots off the pace on -15.

Graeme McDowell was amongst the few that completed their fourth round yesterday - a +1 round of 73 saw him end the weekend on -2.
