Ireland's Peter Lawrie is tied for ninth place on the second day of the Spanish Open in Seville today.
Lawrie carded a second-round 70 to reach the halfway stage on six under par, nine shots adrift of runaway leader Ignacio Garrido.
Darren Clarke carded a 69 today to move to three under par, while Paul McGinley ended his round on two under par.
Elsewhere, Gareth Maybin is set to miss the cut on four over par, while Gary Murphy tees off from two over par this afternoon needing a good round to survive into the weekend.
