Woods hope to play in US Open

Tiger Woods is on course to be fit to play in the US Open after surgery on his left knee.

He has only chipped and putted so far but the world number one is targeting a return to action at the Memorial Tournament in Ohio, starting May 29th.

Woods expects to be fully ready for the second major of the year between June12 and 15 at Torrey Pines.

'The rehab is going well. I've been training hard. I'm getting sick and tired of riding the bike, though.' he said.
