Saturday, 28 June 2008
Peter Lawrie's has dropped three shots on his third round at the French Open in Paris.
A 74 leaves him on two-under-par and nine strokes behind the leader, rookie Pablo Larrazabal going into the final day.
Graeme McDowell has moved up the leaderboard to lie best of the Irish at four-under following a 67, while Paul McGinley carded 70 to move to one-over-par this morning.
Colin Montgomerie and Lee Westwood, two of Europe's big guns, were unable to stop little-known Larrazabal taking a three-stroke lead into the final round.
Ranked only 481st in the world and a qualifier for the event, Larrazabal produced a superb four-under-par 67 today for a -11 total.
