Thursday, 19 June 2008
Irish champion Yeats is bidding for an historic three-in-a-row in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot today.
Aiden O'Brien is hoping his horse can become the first since the 1970s to achieve the famous hat-trick.
O'Brien and jockey Johnny Murtagh have already secured victories earlier this week with Henry the Navigator and Duke of Marmalade.
