Trainers found guilty of breaching rules
Friday, 26 September 2008
Trainer Aidan O'Brien and jockeys Johnny Murtagh and Colm O'Donoghue have all been found guilty of breaching the sport's rules.
The case relates to last month's Juddmonte International Stakes at Newmarket.
The trio appeared at a British Horseracing Authority disciplinary hearing yesterday to answer charges of team tactics - helping a team-mate win the race.
Murtagh and O'Donoghue were banned for seven days each, while O'Brien was fined £5,000.
Back to the track - there is a seven race card at Dundalk this evening.
The first goes to posts at 6.40pm.
