Irish heavyweight rowers fail to reach Beijing final

Ireland's heavyweight four rowers have failed to qualify for the Olympics final in Beijing.
Cormac Folan, Sean Casey, Jonno Devlin and Sean O'Neill will race in the 'B' final tomorrow after finishing sixth and last in their semi-final this morning.
They recorded a time of 5:58.14.
The British team won the semi-final in a time of 5:54.77, followed by Australia and France.
