Super Aguri quit F1 due to financial difficulties
Tuesday, May 06, 2008
The crisis-torn Super Aguri team has withdrawn from the 2008 Formula One championship today after hovering on the brink of collapse for a number of weeks.
The team, founded by former F1 driver Aguri Suzuki, has now been forced out of business due to financial difficulties.
Super Aguri struggled after their 2006 debut and suffered a major blow last month when Britain's Magma Group backed out of plans to acquire them.
