Friday, 13 July 2007
Edinburgh have resolved their dispute with the Scottish Rugby Union for the time being.
The club have allowed their international players to resume training with the national squad, and have withdrawn their resignation from the SRU.
In England six, players are coming to terms with the news that they won't be involved in the rugby World Cup.
Coach Brian Ashton has cut his squad from the original 46 man party.
They include Gloucester back Olly Morgan and Sale Sharks flanker Magnus Lund.
Tri-Nations countries have been warned that if they play under strength sides again and the TV chiefs will pull the plug on programming.
The broadcasters are upset that South Africa has been fielding weakened sides in their Tri-Nations away matches.
This follows hot on the heels of New Zealand sides resting their All Blacks players for the first half of the Super 14 season, their version of the Heineken Cup
