Ospreys beat the Blues 22-3 at Liberty Stadium

Monday, December 31, 2007

The Ospreys have beaten the Cardiff Blues at a packed Liberty Stadium this afternoon.

Gavin Henson's withdrawal had little effect as the team picked up their third Magners League win.

James Hook kicked 17 of the points scored with Huw Bennett scoring the only try.

Ben Blair converted two of the Blues two penalties.

The Ospreys were reduced to 14 men for a stint, when Marty Holah was sin-binned, following unheeded warnings from the referee about killing the ball.

But the hosts took advantage of having an extra man then when the Blues were down to 14 men after Maama Molitika got a yellow-card.
