Smit to miss remaining Tri Nations tests

Injured South African captain John Smit has been ruled out of the Springboks' remaining Tri Nations away tests against New Zealand and the Wallabies.
The hooker picked up a groin strain during the opening 19-8 loss to the All Blacks on Saturday and will return home on Wednesday.
Lock Victor Matfield will take over the skipper's duties and Western Province hooker Schalk Brits has been called up to the squad as cover.
