Leinster beat Cardiff Blues

Sunday, 11 January 2009

Leinster beat Cardiff Blues by the smallest possible margin in the Magners

League.

Seven penalties from Argentina star Felipe Contepomi earned them a 21 points to 20 victory at the RDS.

Gloucester can move to the top of rugby union's Premiership with a win over

second-bottom Newcastle today.

Meanwhile, bottom club Bristol make the trip to Saracens.

The only match yesterday saw Leicester lose 17-13 at Northampton.
