Adebayor likely to face FA charges

Emmanuel Adebayor looks almost certain to face FA charges over his actions during Manchester City's win over Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday.
The former Arsenal striker, who moved to City for £25m this summer, is likely to be charged with violent conduct for stamping on Robin van Persie's face.
He could also face a separate charge for running the length of the field to celebrate in front of the Arsenal fans when he scored City's third goal in the 4-2 victory.
If both charges are upheld, he could be banned for up to four matches.
Adebayor himself is quoted this morning as saying he doesn't know "what I have done wrong to get banned".
