Waterford United are the biggest casualties on First Round Day of the Eircom League of Ireland Cup.
They lost 3-2 on penalties to the Kerry League, after a 1-1 draw.
Matthew Judge's hat-trick inspired Sligo Rovers to a 6-1 win over Kildrum Tigers.
Stephen Rice, Eoin Doyle and Robbie Creevey were the scorers in Shamrock Rovers' 3-0 win at Kildare County.
Shelbourne beat Sporting Fingal 6-5 on penalties at Morton Stadium, after a 2-2 draw.
