Manchester United duo Wayne Rooney and Nemanja Vidic both sat out training this morning ahead of tomorrow night's Champions League showdown with Barcelona.
The absence of the key pair from the Carrington training session casts doubts about their availability for the semi-final second leg at Old Trafford.
Rooney took a knock to his hip before scoring the equaliser in the 2-1 defeat by Chelsea over the weekend, while Vidic suffered a facial injury.
Meanwhile, Frank Lampard is set to return to the Chelsea side for Wednesday's second-leg clash with Liverpool.
The midfielder is back in training following the death of his mother last week.
