Shels narrow gap at top of Eircom First Division

Shelbourne have narrowed the gap on Dundalk at the top of the Eircom League First Division after beating the Co Louth side 3-1 at Oriel Park last night.
Anto Flood secured victory for the Dubliners after netting two second-half goals to leave Shels just two points adrift in the table.
Dundalk also ended the match with just nine players, while Shelbourne had one player sent off.
Meanwhile, tonight is a busy night in the Premier Division, with leaders St Pat's hosting UCD and second-placed Bohemians taking on Cobh Ramblers.
Third-placed Drogheda United also face Bray Wanderers, while Cork City are up against Sligo Rovers, Galway United meet Finn Harps and Shamrock Rovers take on Derry City.
