Rangers fans descend on Manchester for UEFA final
Wednesday, May 14, 2008
An estimated 100,000 Rangers fans have travelled to Manchester ahead of tonight's UEFA Cup final against Zenit St Petersburg.
Midfielder Kevin Thomson is set to undergo a late fitness test for the game after hobbling off in the victory over Dundee United at the weekend.
Zenit St Petersburg, meanwhile, will be without their top scorer, Pavel Pogrebnyak, who is suspended for the tie.
The game is Rangers' first European final appearance for 36 years.
