Beckham booed again despite goal
Sunday, 2 August 2009
David Beckham said he doesn't know if he'll be able to win over the fans at LA Galaxy.
Beckham scored a trademark free-kick in Galaxy's 2-1 defeat to European Champions Barcelona last night but was still booed by several sections of the crowd.
It follows two public rows with supporters at previous matches.
Some fans have questioned his loyalty to the club, after he left to play for AC Milan last season.
Beckham said after the game however that he isn't paying attention to the jeers from the stands,
"Ninety-seven per cent of the crowd were incredible tonight and that's quite a few. So there's going to be a minority that are still reacting in the way they react but that's part of life and part of soccer at the moment for me."
