Benitez planning bold bid to sign Tevez
Friday, 24 April 2009
Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez looks set to antagonise Alex Ferguson with a daring bid to sign Carlos Tevez from Manchester United.
The Argentina striker looks likely to leave Old Trafford this summer and a host of club are believed to be interested in his services.
United wouldn't receive any transfer fee because of the deal surrounding the player's economic rights, which are owned by businessman Kia Joorabchian.
