Blackburn scrape through to FA Cup fourth round
Tuesday, 6 January 2009
Blackburn are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup after beating non-league Blyth Spartans 1-0 at Croft Road last night.
A Carlos Villanueva free kick secured victory for the Premier League side, who survived a major scare towards the end of the game when Blyth came within inches of an equaliser.
Blackburn will now go on to face Sunderland in the fourth round.
