Dubai Investment Capital 'won't buy Liverpool or Newcastle'

Dubai Investment Capital have confirmed they have no intention to buy Liverpool or any other Premier League club.
DIC were in talks with the Anfield club with a view to purchase George Gillett's half of the club, but co-owner Tom Hicks ended negotiations earlier this year.
There had also been suggestions that the group may move to purchase Newcastle from Mike Ashley following his decision to sell the Tyneside club.
That decision is being welcomed by Toon supporters.
In a sixteen hundred word statement Ashley explains he won't abandon the club, but after being abused by fans he doesn't feel it's safe to bring his kids St James' Park.
