Duff returns to Trapattoni's 21-man squad for Cyprus
Tuesday, 7 October 2008
Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni named 21-man squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Cyprus next Wednesday.
Damien Duff is back in the squad after missing last month's games against Georgia and Montenegro through injury.
Steve Finnan, Steven Reid and Stephen Kelly are all ruled out with knocks.
Some of the fringe players have a chance to impress in Thursday's challenge match against Nottingham Forest.
