Dundalk extend First Division lead with 3-0 win

Dundalk have extended their lead in the Eircom League First Division following a 3-0 winover Monaghan United at Oriel Park last night.
John Flanagan scored twice in the first half, with Trevor Vaughan adding to the tally in the second.
Both sides finished with 10 men after Jamie Duffy and Kevin Williams were both sent off for picking up two yellow cards.
Meanwhile, chasers Shelboure and Waterford are in action this evening against Kildare County and Longford Town respectively, while Limerick 37 also take on Wexford Youths.
In the Premier Division, Bohemians have a chance to overtake leaders St Pat's when they welcome UCD to Dalymount Park, while Derry face Galway in Terryland Park and Shamrock Rovers host Sligo at Tolka Park.
