Plenty of transfer activity in Premier

The transfer window closes at midnight tonight, and there has been plenty of activity.
Manchester City and Manchester United are in a tug of war over Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov.
City has had a €37m offer for the Bulgarian accepted by Spurs, but it seems the player is reluctant to move to Eastlands.
It is understood that Berbatov is currently in talks with Premier League champions Manchester United at their Carrington training ground.
City boss Mark Hughes has said he is looking to add more quality players to his squad, while strikers David Villa and Mario Gomez have also been linked with moves to the City of Manchester Stadium.
One player that has left Manchester City is Croatian defender Vedran Corluka.
The 22-year-old has joined Tottenham for a fee of around €10.5m and links up with fellow Croat Luka Modric at White Hart Lane.
Spurs have also today completed the signing of Roman Pavlyuchenko from Spartak Moscow for a fee of €17m.
Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has said he still does not know if Robinho will join the club.
Scolari has said he was now getting frustrated with the constant questions about the Brazilian striker.
Liverpool have completed the signing of Espanyol winger Albert Riera for €11m.
Meanwhile 'Pool full-back Steve Finnan has gone in the opposite direction.
He has joined Espanyol on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The Irish international fell down the pecking order at Anfield following the arrival of Andrea Dossena.
Andriy Voronin is also leaving Anfield after agreeing a one-year loan deal with German side Hertha Berlin.
In other Liverpool news, striker Fernando Torres will be out injured for two to three weeks, following a hamstring injury suffered against Aston Villa yesterday.
Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan is in talks with Deportivo La Coruna over striker Xisco.
The Magpies have also signed Valencia midfielder Ignacio Gonzalez on loan.
Portsmouth signed Algerian left-back Nadir Balhad from French club Lens on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Everton have confirmed the signing of striker Louis Saha from Manchester
United.
The Frenchman's agreed a two-year deal, with the option for a further 12
months.
Chelsea full-back Paulo Ferreira is understood to be in talks over a possible move to West Ham, while AZ Alkmaar revealed they have agreed to loan Ryan Donk to West Brom for the rest of the season.
