Ronaldo favourite to clinch FIFA Player of Year award

Cristiano Ronaldo is the favourite to clinch the FIFA World Player of the Year award later today.
The 23-year-old Portuguese international has already own the prestigious Ballon d'Or following his 42-goal performance last season.
Ronaldo is facing competition for the FIFA award from Xavi Hernandez, Fernando Torres, Lionel Messi and Kaka, who won the prize last year.
The winner is decided in a ballot of national team managers and players.
