Roy Keane lashes out at booing supporters
Thursday, 25 September 2008
Sunderland manager Roy Keane has hit out at club supporters who booed him during a Carling Cup game on Tuesday night.
The booing came as the Black Cats struggled to beat Northampton.
Keane says he was disappointed with the game and the attitude of the fans.
"I won't tolerate people abusing me, absolutely none whatsoever,'' the former Irish international said.
"Some people were targeting me and that's something I've not come into the job to accept again."
