Three women and two men, aged in their twenties, have been arrested in connection with a robbery in Cork.
A woman was attacked and robbed before being dragged along the road by a car in the city this morning.
A 60-year-old woman had withdrawn money from an ATM on Model Farm Road at around 10am this morning when she was followed in her car by a gang of five people.
The woman pulled into a nearby housing estate- when she did so the car that was following her also stopped and 2 men got out.
They grabbed her handbag before getting back into their car.
She leaned into their car and caught a hold of her bag before being dragged a short distance along the road.
Gardai located the car and its five occupants close by a short time later.
They were all arrested and are being questioned at Togher and Gurranabraher Garda Stations.
The woman sustained minor injuries and has received medical attention.
