Eight men charged with murder of Kevin McDaid

Police in the North have charged eight men with the murder of Kevin McDaid in Co Derry on Sunday night.
The men, who are aged between 18 and 50, have also been charged with the attempted murder of a second man, Damien Fleming, who is critically ill in hospital.
Mr McDaid and Mr Fleming were attacked by a gang of men in Coleraine following Rangers' Scottish league title victory on Sunday.
A 47-year-old man has also been charged with affray in connection with the incident, while a 31-year-old man has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The nine men facing criminal charges are due before Ballymena Magistrates Court later today.
